Wellbeing and Social Ergonomics in Workplace Design will be the primary focus of this second event of the month featuring industry professionals from Herman Miller and The Executive Centre and taking place on Monday 18th at The Executive Centre, Dubai.
A workplace that helps initiate and regulate social interaction that takes into consideration factors like personal space, physical and psychological proximity and territoriality can seriously affect our mood and wellbeing. When we feel better, we work better. The concept of wellness and social ergonomics is paving the way to new workplace design strategies where the growth and reputation of a company is cultivated together with a happy, healthy workforce. Participants will leave with a basic understanding of how to design spaces that are more naturally human; a basic understanding of physical ergonomics; a basic understanding of cognitive ergonomics and a basic understanding of social Ergonomics.
