The Great Hot-Desking Debate: Are Agile Office Environments Really Effective?

We often hear from workplace strategists and design professionals that unassigned workspaces are the interior environments of the future.  It lowers real estate cost, creates a mobile and collaborative environment, and gives employees a choice on how and where they want to work each day.  Or does it?

We have seen many articles published lately citing the downside of Hot-desking, and the detrimental effect unassigned workspaces have on employee morale and productivity.  How can a company determine the right environment to provide their people?
