While ageism traditionally focuses on discrimination against older adults, REVERSE AGEISM acknowledges that bias can also exist against younger generations.
Young adults are more likely to report experiencing ageism at work than their middle-aged and older counterparts. So what if you are facing this situation?
Join us on 19th Sep 2024 for a learning and development session to develop resilience. This session will also focus on how to CURB this form of discrimination. We will learn from key professionals how they are addressing this form of discrimination at the workplace.

Kai Ning Lim, Co-Founder, The Courage Chapter
I am the co-founder of The Courage Chapter (www.thecouragechapter.com), which helps senior professionals transition to their second chapter through meaningful projects with companies. Our mission is to create a healthier aging society in mind, body, and spirit. When people are engaged in purposeful work that leverages their expertise, and feel like valued members of society, health and happiness levels increase. We are growing our pre/retiree community and would love to work with progressive companies on employment opportunities for seniors. On the same thread, I also run a passion project - CareerSocius (www.careersocius.com), a social enterprise based in Singapore that helps job seekers improve their career prospects and maximise their potential, through providing personal branding services, mentorship, and upskilling workshops. We equalise the career playing field for less-privileged Singaporeans by providing them with free/heavily subsidised services. Drop me a note if you're passionate about this field and want to volunteer, or if you have any cool ideas we can work on together.
