Experiencing rapid growth and success, SimpliSafe embarked on a journey to upgrade their Boston Headquarters in 2019. Five years later, and a year after living in their new home at 100 Summer Street, we’ll look back at their real-estate strategy, methods deployed to provide future flexibility, and what effect the new workplace design has had on the employee experience.

Julia Leahy, Design Director | Principal, IA Interior Architects
Julia Leahy is a Design Director and Principal in the Boston office IA Interior Architects. As both a designer and strategist, Julia has a passion for designing with an analytic lens, creating transformational environments that enable organizations and people to thrive. With a love for the arts, she sees every design challenge as an opportunity to elevate the human experience and inspire those within it. Throughout her design career Julia has worked with diverse range of clients including Wayfair, GSK, Red Hat, Santander, BJs Wholesale, SunLife and SimpliSafe. Julia holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from Syracuse University.
Nicole Garick, Senior Manager of Workplace Experience, SimpliSafe
Nicole Garick brings over a decade of diverse professional experience to her role as Senior Manager of Workplace Experience at SimpliSafe. With a solid foundation cultivated during her nine-year tenure on the workplace experience team at IDEO, Nicole transitioned seamlessly to SimpliSafe, where she has since dedicated the past four years to shaping exceptional workplace environments across the company's US offices.
In her current capacity, Nicole leads a dynamic team focused on optimizing workplace experiences that foster productivity, collaboration, culture and employee well-being. Nicole also holds a deep commitment to driving positive organizational culture and enhancing employee satisfaction through thoughtful workplace design and programming. With a blend of strategic vision, creativity, and hands-on experience, she continues to elevate the workplace experience at SimpliSafe, ensuring it reflects the company's values and supports its talented workforce.
AnnLouise White, Senior Manager of Real Estate, SimpliSafe
AnnLouise White is a seasoned senior leader with more than two decades in the real estate sector, specializing in corporate construction projects and enhancing workplace environments for employees. As the Senior Manager of Real Estate at SimpliSafe, she manages a portfolio of over 225,000 square feet of space, including SimpliSafe’s cutting-edge headquarters at 100 Summer Street in Boston.
At SimpliSafe, AnnLouise leads the transformation of its workspaces to align with the demands of the post-pandemic era, emphasizing a hybrid work model. The company's headquarters exemplifies this approach with its modern design, offering flexible, non-assigned seating arrangements, top-of-the-line audio-visual technology, and a diverse array of collaborative work areas.
