In this panel session presented by the Women of CoreNet and Sustainability Committees, we will set the context behind the rise of ESG as a corporate business imperative. We will explore how org structures can be designed to support cross-functional alignment and drive success in operationalizing ESG, specifically within the corporate real estate function. Attendees will leave with examples of strategic and tactical activations initiated by the corporate real estate teams as a blueprint for their own organization’s ESG efforts. Together, these leaders will demystify the relationship between ESG and corporate real estate.

Speaker Bios: 

Christina Weber, VP, Growth & Client Solutions, Stok, a provider of integrated sustainability and high-performance building services. In this role, she supports corporate real estate owners and occupiers in investing wisely in ESG strategies to achieve their impact goals. 

 

Edua Dickerson is the Vice President of ESG and Finance Strategy at ServiceNow. In her role, she is responsible for developing, activating, and overseeing the integrated ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) strategy and initiatives. She also creates and manages key activities to enable the Finance organization to operate effectively at scale.

 

Amy Aves is the Senior Director of Oracle’s Real Estate & Facilities organization at Oracle. Her role includes leading the RE&F Sustainability program, Oracle’s Environment Health & Safety organization, and is a member of Oracle’s Environmental Steering Committee. 

 

Sara Andersen is Executive Director and Head of Real Estate and Workplace Effectiveness at Genentech. Her organization is responsible for ensuring the work environments support desired business outcomes for the business units at Genentech’s South San Francisco site and beyond, in addition to reaping value from our 200+ acre site in South San Francisco.Sara’s role at Genentech allows her to exercise her passion for providing healthy, sustainable, financially performing environments that allow people to do their best work
