Join us Friday, September 29th and get your hands dirty to make a real impact with this group of volunteers to help restore the preserves adjacent to the Chicago River.
CoreNet is partnering with Friends of the Chicago River to improve and protect the Chicago River system with a Canoe and Land Clean. The trip will be three hours long, rain or shine!
You will have the choice of cleaning by foot on land or by canoe on the water. There is room for 14 participants on the water & 20 on land. All clean up equipment will be provided by Friends of the Chicago River (boats, bags, gloves, grabbers, paddles, life jackets, canoe guides, and trash bags). Canoe & land guides will help you safely load in and out of the boats, offer paddling instruction and answer questions for this unforgettable experience.
Members & Non-Members: $20 Donation (payable here) which will go to Friends of the Chicago River.
