Presenter #1: Darren Teoh, Vice President, CapitaLand Investment | Group Sustainability
Darren joined CapitaLand Investment Limited (CLI) in April 2022 as the Vice President of Group Sustainability focusing on enhancing and driving CLI’s Private Equity Real Estate and Alternative Asset’s ESG capabilities. Prior to joining CLI, Darren was based in Sydney, Australia and was the Head of Sustainability, Real Estate for AMP Capital Investors Ltd where he successfully orchestrated and delivered two net zero carbon (scope 1 and 2) portfolio with an AUM of approximately A$10billion in 2021 and 2022 respectively. Darren was a steering committee member in the 2019 Property Council of Australia’s Office Building Quality guide and was also recognised as a Green Star Champion by the Green Building Council of Australia for being a leader in the delivery of a more sustainable built environment. Darren holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from University Tenaga Nasional, Malaysia and an MBA from University of Queensland, Australia.

Victor is a trained architect with over 26 years of experience in corporate real estate including architecture, construction, workplace design and account management for a diverse portfolio of global Fortune 500 clients. His professional experience in architecture includes a diverse portfolio of projects in the United States and Asia, ranging from university campuses to large-scale assembly spaces. He also has extensive experience in civic facilities and residential and affordable housing projects. Prior to joining IWBI, Victor has spent more than a decade in Asia Pacific working in a global management position where he developed go-to-market strategies and alliances to provide holistic workplace solutions for large multinational organizations. Victor is a WELL Faculty/WELL and LEED accredited professional and is passionate about creating highly effective, sustainable, and healthy work environments that prioritize people and planet. Victor has also obtained his Masters of Corporate Real Estate (MCR) and Masters of Corporate Real Estate in Workplace (MCR.w) with CoreNet Global.
