The Middle East Chapter is delighted to confirm its first event back in the capital since 2019. Taking place on Wednesday 19 October, we are excited to be hosted by WeWork who for over a decade, has been leading the future of flexible work. Also very exciting is our topic Creating Positive Spaces with Biophilia in Mind.
Biophilic Design offers guidelines on how to create built environments that support our innate human attraction to nature and natural processes (biophilia – “The passionate love of life and of all that is alive”), stemming from our evolutionary development and survival. Interface has created an inspirational design guide Creating Positive Spaces using the WELL Building Standard on the topic of Biophilic Design (designing nature back into the built environment) and how to use its principles in creative and cost-effective ways. Guest speaker is Neslihan Küçükaslan an Architect and Key Account Manager UAE, Turkey & Israel with Interface.
