Dr. Louann Brizendine, MD, is the Lynne and Marc Benioff Endowed Chair in Clinical Psychiatry at the University of California, San Francisco, founder of UCSF’s Women’s Mood and Hormone Clinic and New York Times bestselling author of The Female Brain and The Male Brain. She lives in Sausalito, California with her husband.
