Headquartered in Irving, Texas, Pioneer Natural Resources was ready for a new facility, but not a new hometown. The growing oil and gas company decided a custom-designed, newly constructed building on a 35-acre campus in Las Colinas would best suit its business needs, forward-thinking corporate culture, while bringing together its North Texas employees in one 1.1 million SF building. Opened and occupied shortly before the pandemic, this tour is a first that presents CoreNet Global North Texas with a rare opportunity to observe firsthand the collaborative workspace. The interior was designed to allow for more than 90 percent of the occupied spaces to have direct views of the lush mesquite trees, lake and sweeping landscape outside. A roof garden connects the building's conference rooms, and employees have direct access to a fitness center, cafeteria, town hall and daycare, along with a seven-story parking garage.
