Webinar Boston, MA, United States

The CoreNet Connecticut, Mid Atlantic, New England and New York chapters present:

The Importance of workplace age equity across the age spectrum: why it should be included in DEI strategy

Webinar | February 8, 2022 | 12:00 pm - 1:15 pm

The CoreNet Global Connecticut, Mid Atlantic, New England and New York Diversity, Equity and Inclusion committees invited Sheila Callaham to discuss the ageism situation and what age bias and age stereotypes look like in the workplace, particularly around implicit bias. Many companies have not thought about age discrimination as it is woven into the fabric of our societal framework. In this keynote, Sheila talks about the importance of age equity and how it impacts people of all ages across every dimension of diversity.

When we asked what company Sheila respected in the DEI space, she named CVS Caremark Corporation. Not only have they been advocates for age inclusion for more than a decade, their overall DEI program is top-notch. Following the keynote, Sheila will facilitate a question-and-answer panel discussion with the speakers to understand their extensive efforts around diversity and inclusion for their employees.
