Topic: Building a Better Future: Partnering with Mission-Driven Companies
Description: Companies play an important role in creating a more equitable, inclusive and sustainable global economy. From advancing social justice to reducing carbon emissions, their contributions are critical to building a better future for us all. Partnering with mission-driven service providers and vendors is key to the success of these initiatives. For corporate real estate professionals, that means hiring service providers that share their organization's corporate values. Mission-based vendors focus on people, not profit, and support the greater good in a variety of ways. This may include using products that don't harm the environment, paying their employees a fair wage, and managing their supply chain ethically. These partnerships also provide a number of important internal benefits, such as improved recruitment and retention and a more positive workplace culture. This session will explain why corporate real estate professionals should partner with mission-driven service providers and how they can identify the right partner for their needs.
