Drinks With a Leader: ‘Bet on Yourself!’ Ugly Sweater Edition
The holidays are nigh and it’s time to join our NorCal Young Leaders for Drinks with a Leader as they teach us how to “Bet on Yourself”. This festive event will include an ugly sweater theme while networking and learning from two of our own successful Young Leaders. Brandon Maddox and Mark Anderson will lead the discussion as we pick their brains on topics such as:
- Should you chase money, title or opportunity? How do you balance these three goals and how does it affect your decision making?
- What specific skill sets do you see as being really valuable in the future?
- Can you envision a future where your job might be taken over by software or drive out of certain markets
- What setbacks or challenges did you face getting to where you are now? What challenges do you continue to struggle with? How did/do you overcome them?
- Have you had a mentor in the business and, if so, what role did that person play in your development?
