How to Extinguish Burnout in the "New Normal" World

September 29, 2021
9:00-10:30am

Join us for a fast-paced discussion of a difficult topic – Burnout.  Who hasn’t suffered at one time or another from exhaustion, cynicism, and a lack of effectiveness? Elegantly defined as the depletion of personal agency – the apparatus driving our ability to initiate and execute actions – burnout effectively wipes out our ability to be effective, much less engaged. And the cost of burnout is astronomical in all its forms and phases, not to mention the profound and lasting effects it has on employees and workplace cultures.

This program will take a deep dive into the signs, sources and solutions of burnout   For the book Extinguish Burnout. Rob and Terri Bogue did the research. They gathered knowledge from numerous disciplines, and put it all together in a way that anyone can understand. No matter your role, you can identify the signs of burnout, take steps to build your resilience to burnout, and help yourself and others recover from burnout.
