Hosted by the CoreNet Global Midwest Chapter Young Leaders!
With retirement pushing to a later age for some Traditionalists and the recent addition of Generation Z into the workplace, many organizations are facing the inherent challenges and benefits associated with having five different generations in the workforce today. Generations are often defined by the significant world events and technological developments that occur during key developmental stages of their lives. Individuals are also significantly impacted by the generations that raise them. The past 18 months have presented each of these generations with a significant world event (COVID-19) and resulting technology advancement at an indescribable scale and pace. While the experience itself is universal, the unique impact on each generation will provide context to how each generation thinks, makes decisions, and leads people and organizations.
A diverse group of leaders in the Corporate Real Estate industry in Minneapolis will build a SWOT analysis of the five generations present in the workplace today. Together with guidance from the moderator, they will uncover parallels, overlaps, contrasts, and particulars of observed and perceived differences from one generation to the next. Attendees can expect to understand how generation diversity will impact and drive organizational strategy.
