 In these unprecedented times, real estate strategies need to be more fluid than ever.  Flexibility seems to be the key word as organizations plan for their employees’ return to the office.  Learn the new ways businesses are leveraging flex space solutions and services as we come out of the pandemic.  Join panelists from Hana/Industrious, IWG and WeWork for a thought-provoking conversation around new, flexible office trends.

Suzanne Leblanc, Director, Corporate Real Estate, Hobbs Brook Real Estate

Suzanne joined Hobbs Brook Real Estate in 2020 as the Director of Real Estate responsible for the FM Global portfolio. She manages a worldwide portfolio of 2.3M SF in 62 locations in 28 countries. FM Global is a mutual commercial property insurance company with expertise solely dedicated to property risk management and the resilience of its client-owners.

Prior to that Suzanne has held Real Estate Leadership positions with Mercury Systems, Dassault Systems, Nokia, Banco Santander and Sate Street Corporation with responsibility for real estate strategy, transactions, design and construction projects and facilities.

She has been active with CoreNet New England for many years and is currently a member of the Education Committee. In 2015 Suzanne was the CoreNet New England Americas Real Estate Executive of the Year and was on the Board of Directors from 2016 - 2020.

Panelists:

Lindsay Wester, Sr Director Corporate Communications, CBRE

As Sr. Director of Communications for CBRE’s Advisory & Transaction Services, Lindsay is responsible for liaising with senior leadership to understand what’s happening within the business line and translating that information into clear, audience-specific, internal and external education. She works across teams to develop communications strategies that unveil new products, services and insights to the press and industry.

Prior to her current role with CBRE, Lindsay led brand and communications for CBRE’s flexible office space solution and subsidiary, Hana. Lindsay was responsible for the creation and execution of all facets of Hana’s brand and communications strategy to drive adoption of the service by companies of all sizes. She worked closely with the sales and brokerage teams to educate their clients on the advantages of adding flexible space to their portfolio, and she partnered with landlords to meet their property marketing needs surrounding Hana’s flexible operations.

Earlier in her career, Lindsay led brand marketing and communications for Zipcar, the world’s leading carsharing network. At Zipcar, she developed a passion for cities and the interconnectivity of transportation and real estate.

 Lindsay holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration from Babson College.  

Sean Deaton, VP, Enterprise, IWG

Sean joined IWG in 2009 and has successfully led the Global Enterprise Team throughout the revolution of the flexible workspace industry.  For the past 10+ years, he’s guided the team in delivering Global solutions to 90% of the Fortune 500 companies. 

With 25 years in Leadership, Sean is focused on aligning teams to provide value added solutions to successfully enable Client’s to exceed their strategic objectives.  Most recently, he’s responsible for helping hundreds of Enterprise clients to enable their workforce to truly work from anywhere.

Sean holds a BA from The University of Texas at Austin McCombs School of Business and an MBA from St. Mary’s College of California.

Brittany Lane, WeWork

 

Brittany Lane currently serves as WeWork's Global Account Director based in Boston. She consults enterprise clients on their global flexible real estate portfolios. She currently develops global return to work strategies for WeWork's largest healthcare & life science partnerships. She joined the real estate industry after having worked at L.E.K. Consulting and Gerson Lehrman Group's Private Equity team.
