Adaptive reuse is the idea of taking an existing structure or site and reusing it for something other than what it was originally designed As space types and needs change, along with end users desire for something different, adaptive reuse projects are starting to pop up more and more. In the Triangle, original sites like Crossroads Ford, the Morrisville Outlet Mall, and a former Sam’s Club are in the middle of major retransformations into new and exciting workplaces.
