Happy Hour Book Club: Explore the Wild with Women of CoreNet - A Discussion About Cheryl Strayed's Memoir Wild
Please join the Women of CoreNet for a Happy Hour / Book Club event to discuss Cheryl Strayed’s Wild.
Wild is a memoir of Cheryl Strayed’s epic eleven-hundred mile solo trek on the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) from the Mohave Desert, through California and Oregon, ending in Washington state. Cheryl is brutally honest about her life challenges, and how she needed to get lost, and wild, in order to find herself again. It’s a story about resilience which is more applicable today than ever.
If you won’t be able to read the book, it was made into a fantastic film, Wild, starring Reese Witherspoon as Cheryl. We will also send out a book summary to all registered participants to get everyone ready for the session.
Venue: Virtual via Zoom
