Times of disruption and massive change require adapting to evolving situations and thinking outside the box.  Hear from a panel of experts on how recent events have challenged them to think differently, stay nimble, and manage through enormous change.  They will also share the importance of empathy and communication in building trust and understanding.

Event Speakers:  

   Mike Bonito, VP of Sales/Branch Manager, WB Mason Company

 

Mike is a graduate of Stonehill College where he received a BS in Business & Computer Information Systems.  He currently serves as the Branch Manager for RI where he is responsible for all facets of customer relations including new account acquisition, category expansion and customer retention.  Mike has served in this capacity for over a decade and helped pioneer the RI market since they opened their doors in 1997.  Collectively, the RI market is now an 85-million-dollar branch for both contract furniture and commodity consumables.  Mike’s current focus due to the pandemic has shifted to a ‘A Back to Work Strategy’ with a complete focus on PPE products and sales.   Mike takes great pride in delivering a high level of service by developing a passionate and positive workplace.

 

  Eric Johnson, Senior Workplace Advisor, Allsteel

Eric’s passion is effectively integrating the breadth of workplace components - combining design, talent, operations, and technology - to creatively and optimally support new ways of working, changing work practices, and an increasingly diverse workforce.

Eric received an MA in Organizational Development from Marymount University and a BS in Architecture from the University of Virginia. He is an active member of CoreNet Global, and part of the Workplace Evolutionaries leadership

 

   John Slein, Senior Facility Manager, Citizens Bank

John Slein is the Facilities Operations Manager of the Johnston Campus in RI – a state of the art, 1MM SQFT office made up of four buildings of collaboration, event, and activity space. He is at the midpoint of his third year leading a team responsible for repair, maintenance, and hospitality. The campus is the largest, most expansive building asset in Citizens Bank’s real estate portfolio that is 100% owned by the bank and 100% operated by in-sourced colleagues. John’s team works diligently to provide great customer service to their colleagues while offering a well maintained ‘class A’ site. Due to the recent pandemic, John’s team has transitioned their operations and maintenance mindset to logistics and PPE fulfillment for Citizen’s “return to work” strategy. John is a graduate of Bentley University where he received a Bachelor of Science in Management. In his spare time he enjoys trips to Cape Cod, doing home renovation projects, and locally brewed craft beer.
