   Laura Keenan, Chief Sustainability Officer | Fidelity Investments

Laura Keenan is the Chief Sustainability Officer for Fidelity Investments, a leading provider of investment management, retirement planning, portfolio guidance, brokerage, benefits outsourcing and other financial products and services to more than 26 million individuals, institutions and financial intermediaries. She and her team are a responsible for Fidelity’s corporate environmental impact and driving integration of environmental considerations into Fidelity’s business strategy as part of the company’s broader environmental, social and governance (ESG) program.

 As an experienced leader in the corporate, institutional and public sectors, she has leveraged her strategic problem-solving skills throughout her career to strengthen the communities that she has worked with. Whether as a public sector architect, multi-party coordinator in academia, or as a corporate sustainability officer, she has worked to establish and implement long-term strategies that best support each entity's future needs. Her responsibilities are diverse and include driving the environmental sustainability efforts across Fidelity; effectively telling stories and supporting change through this period of rapid cultural evolution; as well as managing various other business initiatives. She is also an active career coach at Fidelity.

Prior to joining Fidelity in 2006, Ms. Keenan worked in various roles in the real estate industry on projects across the United States. Ms. Keenan holds a Master of Business Administration from Simmons University and a Bachelor of Architecture from Syracuse University. She is a Registered Architect in the state of New York. In addition to her fulltime responsibilities, Ms. Keenan has served as an adjunct professor, thesis advisor, visiting critic and speaker at various colleges. She is actively engaged with many organizations in her personal and professional communities.
