Speaker: Jackie Edwards

Jackie Edwards comes from very humble beginnings on the island of Nassau in The Bahamas. She completed her high school education there and went on to earn a full athletic scholarship to Stanford University, where she excelled both on and off the field. Following graduation, Jackie embarked on a long and successful 17-year career as a professional track and field athlete.

During those years, she experienced immense highs and tremendous lows and can attest to the fact that success is not for the faint of heart. She found that through discipline, preparation, self-confidence, hard work and a sheer willingness to excel, she was able to withstand the test and adversity that inevitably comes with a career in sport. Jackie went on to be a 2-Time NCAA Champion, 9-Time World Championship competitor and a 5-Time Olympian.

Jackie is a very powerful motivational speaker who has spoken all over the world to a wide variety of audiences. She engages her audiences by relating easy-to-identify-with life lessons through her athletic experiences. She is also a mental health advocate, who believes that the best way to promote anything is to lead by example and that with dedication and focus, you can accomplish anything.
