People make career shifts for many different reasons -  for growth, simply looking for a change, or something unexpected. The Career Strategies & Development committee presents this year's annual (rebranded) alumni event:  Success Stories - Alumni Panel Reimagined. Join us as our panelists share their own success stories, how they navigated challenges and surprises throughout the last year, by choice or not, and how they used the opportunity of one job ending to create a positive new beginning.

 

Speakers:

 

Meagan Charbonneau, Business Development Manager II, Gilbane Building Company

Meagan brings 10 years of industry experience and engagement within the Massachusetts A/E/C community. Having worked in Business Development for the Owner’s Project Management, Furniture, and now Construction side of the business, Meagan brings a holistic perspective to her role within Gilbane Building Company as she works to strategically enhance Gilbane’s presence while also expanding upon existing relationships throughout the city.

 

Annamarie Coyne, Director of Business Development, Bowdoin Construction Corp

Annamarie Coyne joined Bowdoin Construction as Director of Business Development in 2020. Annamarie comes to Bowdoin with a background in account management and sales in contract furniture and architectural products. She draws on her relationships with owners, end-users, architects and design professionals to help grow the firm’s Corporate, Industrial, Lab, Medical, Retail, Academic and Multi-family Residential markets. 

A graduate of Stonehill College, Annamarie is a results-oriented professional with a unique combination of creative, decision-making and leadership skills. She has a solid track record in growing sales, market share and in bringing people together. Annamarie lives in Milton with her family and in her spare time enjoys playing golf, cooking, and hiking.

 

Andrew Feibelman, Vice President, Project Management & Development Services,  JLL

Andrew has more than 20 years of experience in sales, marketing communications, strategic planning and account management. Previously, Andrew worked as the Director of Business Development at BRG, one of largest workplace management and workplace technology consulting firms in the United States (BRG was acquired by JLL in 2016).

Additional experience also includes Director of Business Development at Fox RPM Corp., one of the largest project and relocation management firms in New England and Washington, D.C. (Fox was acquired by BRG in 2015).  Prior to Fox, Andrew was an Account Manager for Graybar, a Fortune 500 solution provider of IT, electrical and security solutions.

 

   Kari Pope, Sr. Manager Global Real Estate & Development,  Apple

Kari Pope started her real estate career 19 years ago as a commercial real estate broker in the Silicon Valley.  She was one of only a handful of female brokers in the industry and working in a top producing office.  She transitioned into representing local developers; managing tenants and construction projects, leasing and flipping properties.  

Kari now works in Corporate Real estate.  As a Director at BlackRock, she led the strategic portfolio planning efforts in the Americas encompassing over 50 offices and 2M square feet.  Now at Apple she is a Sr. Manager in Global Real Estate & Development responsible for the San Francisco Bay Area portfolio.

Kari has been an active member of CoreNet for many years, has her MCR and CCIM designation and is currently a Co-Chair on the Tech Special Interest Group Committee.
