Coffee with CoreNet: Actionable Steps Using MEP to Reduce Transmission Rates

Tuesday, November 10, 2020 to Tuesday, November 10, 2020
Online Pittsburgh, PA, United States

Acknowledging that COVID-19 is primarily transmitted as an airborne virus, the program will review how can MEP design help reduce those risks.  We provide a base understanding of how we catch viruses including COVID-19 and review actionable items for reopening and long term strategies for pathogen control.  At the end of this program, participants will be able to understand: the three primary transmission methods of COVID-19 & typical preventative measures, infectious dose & viral load, short term HVAC approaches to reduce transmission to include ventilation & filtration, long term solutions for Pathogen control including Air Sanitization, and other MEP design contributors to Pathogen control.

Allen & Shariff Engineering Presenters: David Van der Vossen, PE, CGD, LEED AP, Senior Regional Vice President and David Price, PE, Senior Vice President.

*Please note that Zoom link will be sent to registrants the morning of the event.
