Meet the Enneagram:
Your Personalized Guide of Inter/Intrapersonal Understanding

Why take time for an overview of the Enneagram? The Enneagram helps you learn about your unconscious operating system, minimize your blind spots and limitations, and more fully utilize your strengths. Perhaps, even more importantly, it is a window into your own ‘internal architecture’.

Valerie Atkin uses the Enneagram and the study of neuroscience to inform her coaching and consulting when assisting in the development of balanced, effective individuals who are able to create successful organizations. A test is one way to begin.

To get the most of this event, please complete your Enneagram test before the event. One free option is: https://www.eclecticenergies.com/enneagram/dotest

In the words of Helen Palmer, a leading Enneagram expert, “The Enneagram allows you to grasp the reality other people are living in, to see where they are coming from, their filters, their points of view -- and then speak directly to that.” No question, that strengthens effective communication and collaboration.

We hope you will join CoreNet SoCal and meet the Enneagram.

Speaker:
Valerie Atkin, Founder of Wells Street Consulting

Valerie Atkin founded Wells Street Consulting in 1991 to assist in the development of balanced, effective individuals who are able to create successful organizations. The study of neuroscience and the Enneagram inform her coaching and consulting. Neuroscience helps us see how we are so very much alike and our ability to build new emotional and behavioral pathways. The Enneagram helps us have compassion for and appreciate our differences and is a remarkable growth map.

Valerie Atkin is an Enneagram 3, which means she's had a historically tenuous relationship with patience and is happy to report studying the Enneagram has allowed her to tame her efficiency compunction and utilize it more sparingly as needed.

She has consulted with numerous contract furniture and design firms for over 20 years. Current clients range from Herman Miller and many of its dealers to an arts consortium to a forest products veneer manufacturer, among others.

Before founding Wells Street, she held a variety of positions ranging from Organizational Analyst at DuPont to Regional Vice President at MOHR Development. She has served as Marketing Chair on the International Enneagram Association Board of Directors; president of the University of Michigan Museum of Art Friends Board; vice president of the Saugatuck Douglas Historical Society; Member Experience Chair on Impact 100 Traverse City Board; and supports fundraising for the Enneagram Prison Project. She has a great sense of humor about almost everything except University of Michigan football.
